Pathways
We believe the next generation will do extraordinary things.
We create engaging programs, services and opportunities that encourage self-discovery and preparedness, inspiring the pursuit of life-long learning and exploration. We’re an enterprising school district committed to removing barriers and forging unique pathways for learning and enrichment to create a future ready community.
Supporting the Journey from Preschool to Graduation
One91 Pathways creates valuable, age-appropriate experiences that align with the four career fields at Burnsville High School. At every stage, we are creating learning opportunities that create a sense of wonder, interest and discovery in each and every student. See our approach and take the time to dig deeper.
Elementary School: Sparking Wonder
For elementary learners in District 191, we begin to unpack the world of possibilities and explore healthy and meaningful expression. We want students to feel energized with daily “spark” moments to keep the joy of learning big and bright. We want to show kids possibilities and nurture their curiosity to help them visualize a future where they can do what they love.
Middle School: Fueling Exploration
Grades 6–8 are marked by a time of self-discovery and finding belonging. Students see their interests validated and are supported as they explore where their talents, interests and hopes could lead. We want students to feel empowered and excited as they begin to think about their futures.
High School: Blazing New Trails
High School Pathways in District 191 is immersive and interactive. Students can explore their interests, earn certifications and college credits, and prepare for further study, training, mentorship and work opportunities within a career field. As learners have the opportunity to experience 14 distinct Pathways, we want them to feel a sense of clarity, purpose and preparation so they leave our doors ready to blaze their own trail.
